We couldn't run Board Games By The Bay without the help of our amazing volunteers. If you'd like to help out in any capacity, use the form below to let us know!

Note: for the Auckland event at The Games Fair, please use this form instead

Please note the following:

You can help full time (one or both days), part time (a four hour shift) or just for a particular busy period, like set-up.
Even helping full-time, you are very likely to get time to play some games yourself.
You can help by teaching games, or by relieving on the front desk.
You don't need to be able to teach every game! Check out bgbtb.nz/games-library to see what is going to be available.

As a full-time volunteer ("Red Shirt"): *

Saturday Sunday

Full time helpers (one or both days) get:

Free weekend pass to BGBTB (we will refund your pre-registration)
Free lunch roll
Free pizza dinner (Saturday)
A small koha of thanks from us

As a part-time volunteer (4 hour shift): *

Part time helpers (4 hour shift) get:

Free day pass to BGBTB (we will refund your pre-registration)
Free lunch roll OR pizza dinner

With specific jobs: *

Saturday set-up (9am to 10am) Saturday doors open (10am to 11am) Sunday pack-up (6pm to 7pm)

Helping with this stuff gets you:

A free chocolate bar or drink
