We are going to be running a Silent Auction at Board Games By The Bay: Christchurch on Saturday 17th July 2021.
Do you have some games that no longer get played, gathering dust on your shelf? A Silent Auction is a really great way to sell your games! Are you looking for something new? Maybe you can grab yourself a bargain!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
TO SELL YOUR GAMES: Bring along games you want to sell on Saturday 17th July to BGBTB Christchurch. For each game, fill out a form (available at the event, or download below) with your name, and details about the game. You decide the starting/reserve price, and the closing time of the auction (6pm at the latest). At closing time, the game will sell to the highest bidder! It is up to you and the buyer to organise payment. TO SPEED THINGS UP ON THE DAY, download and print this form with the details for your games. Prints 2 forms to an A4 page.
TO BUY GAMES: Register at the front desk on the day to get yourself a bidder number. You can bid on games by writing down your number and your bid. Bids must be higher than the previous bid, and the first bid must be at or higher than the starting/reserve price. Note the closing time for the game you are interested in. If you are the highest bidder at closing time, you get the game! It is up to you and the seller to organise payment.
